ABOUT THE POSITION

The Oil/Fuel Delivery Driver position is responsible for delivery of fuel and/or oil products to customer locations as required. A description of the duties includes:

• Maintain a valid class A CDL driver's license and a valid HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsements;
• Deliver fuel and/or oil to customer farm locations;
• Receives and processes orders;
• Safely uses forklift and manpower to complete tasks;
• Loading and unloading oil products as required;
• Cleaning and maintenance of warehouse;
• Assists customer with inquiries and provide quality customer service;
• Adhere to all Skyland Grain LLC safety standards and procedures and will encourage others to behave in a safe manner;
• Ensure that the company trucks are maintained properly and that all scheduled maintenance is performed including daily inspections;
• Complete all reports and logs as required;
• Driver will be on-time and on the road no later than 7:30 a.m. each day they are scheduled or as directed by their supervisor;
• Driver will be expected to be self-motivated and be able to take action in solving problems while using reason and common sense;
• Employee is required to perform all other duties as directed by supervisor.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic computer operation skills
• Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and the ability to lift 100 lbs.
